I have been running windows 11 Enterprise edition (less bloatware) for about two months now and really the only reason is for HDR graphics when watching movies and tv shows in 4k. I am thinking about going back to Linux mint again (no HDR) but MT4 runs faster and it is way easier to run multiple version from a single directory. Windows uses %APPDATA% which is a pain in the butt especially for backups and multi MT4's. Maybe I am missing something but I do miss Linux.

I use Macrium Reflect to clone my main hard drive once a week. Google Drive backs up files to the cloud as soon as I save them. Just set it to backup my user directory which includes the appdata folder as well as documents etc. Keeping a backup at a separate location is a must, lightning strike, burglar, house fire etc is a slight risk but possible and would be a disaster if all your files were gone forever.
As for multiple MT4's just install to separate directories and copy the data folder to each one.
Each to their own, I find windows fast and easy, trying to use Linux with multiple monitors was a complete PITA.
