For an ordinary person (and for me too) it's just a multiplier.
In the middle* calculations are selected from two options. This multiplier changes one of the options, increases or decreases its weight *, different worms are obtained.

So size? If weight was half that would be equal /2
If weight was double that would be *2

I guess multiplier means speed so thats what i was hoping for!
Not sure if half value means the same as half speed

Also what is the second option to change weight?

No, "weight" is part of the formula, 2 is not equal to 2.
It's hard for me to think about speed at 6 in the morning.
I added the second, third "weight" and prices to the parameters, you can experiment.

I found two smoothing in the formula. You can turn them on and off.

I wonder if someone could be kind enough to help.

This Ehlers Transform indicator has Price Smoothing and Index Smoothing, which is very useful.

I am wondering if a trusted Coder on here could add Divergencies, which is optional to show on the Chart and the Indicator itself.
