I definitely get your point and totally agree with you.

What I do see in most forums is the same old moving average tweaks that doesn't work, just some new colors or fancy lagging.
I try to bring a "new" indicator to the table, think outside the box a bit.
With the help of a mt5 coder we will see if it works or not, since mt5 stores ticks it will at least be easier to directly check on chart.

I think it's due to this forum being more MT4 oriented. (MT4 is more popular)

Hopefully people will get the benefits from using mt5 soon.
Execution speed, real ticks in backtesting and you can get multi currency pair backtesting too.
But the best part is CME data.

Could you convert this spread indicator to MT5 (Display Spread nmc)?

It's basic but ideal

If anyone has a similar version i would appreciate it, my current spread indicator is too glitchy.
