It may help a bit with long-term trend analysis on the lower timeframes (5 minute & 15 minute charts), but honestly those are very laggy settings on an already lagging indicator

8There's dozens of non lag MACD's on our site.
PS: Moved all of these posts to a separate thread as it was totally off-topic and had nothing to do with our TDI thread. It would have been better in our MACD Indicators topic!
