This is bad. Their 30-year yield is 3.20% (100 basis point spike) and 40-year bond is cooked, $500 billion in market capitalization is gone.

Apparently their Crypto markets are going well and Bitcoin is even being used as a hedge. Who would have thought it would get to that? 😬

So much going on right now;

-Trump still not walked away from Ukraine and so is now facing an urgent $50 billion bill to keep Ukraine afloat for yet another year.

-Trump's $4 trillion spending rampage of a defence bill 'disappoints' money saving Musk, so is giving up DOGE.

-US about to sanction EU/UK leaders for freedom of speech violations.
-Trump is threatening Apple with a $22 billion 'tariff'.

-Merz "We will do everything to ensure that Nord Stream 2 never works" (err, but you own it)

-Trump forces NYT and WP to give their Pulitzer prizes due to their out and out bullshitting.

-Tulsi Gabbard vows to root out and expose the politicization of intelligence agencies.

+ loads more …

EU starts sanctioning it's own people, the end of democracy in Europe is in sight.

No laws broken by those being sanctioned, just arbitrary decisions made by the EU.

Asset freezes and travel bans handed out to 2 German journalists.

One is a war correspondent who dared to put forward the Russian point of view on the Ukraine conflict.

This is automatically classified as 'disinformation' by the EU.

Hopefully JD Vance the US vice president will start issuing sanctions against EU leaders for their moves against free speech quickly (as per article in yesterday's post).

That's right but if everyone is on one side the market can't work and that usually means it doesn't take much to start a panic and then everyone's rushing for the door.

'European leaders at anti-free speech conferences'

“A New World Order with European Values.”

'That “new world order” is based on an aggressive anti-free speech platform that has been enforced for years by the European Union. At the heart of this effort is the Digital Services Act'

We never needed laws to control speech before, so why now, It's because now the powers that be know they're deliberately lying pretty much about everything and need to suppress anyone who tries to point this out to others.
