The EA doesn't set any SL or TP, it just tells you the SL value equivalent to a 2% loss, but it's a Virtual SL, you can set the SL and TP by dragging the entry price line up and down.

Dear Xard, can you please tell me why on one monitor I have a good looking graph, but on the other monitor all symbols are in a pile and different ADR ? How to fix it ?

Wow, how stupid of me! I came from MT4 and I just assumed.... I'm so sorry to have bothered you. But it saves me a great deal of time to wonder what is wrong. Exactly nothing as it turns out, lol! Thanks again

So I decided to add to the DIRECTIONAL PLAY by graying out the opposite Candles Above and Below the EMA100.
Viola! No more rocket science when trading.

This has always been my idea of a perfect visual trading system. The bias colors should only show when the trades have met some conditions.
Must have taken alot of coding tactics and experience. Hope we get the update soon.

Yesterday was ANZAC Day here in New Zealand and in Australia. The AUS200 index was dead on open, and I was expecting lower volume. I waited for Hong Kong to open.

A tidy sell trade after the price dropped below the open line and got out at the first sign of exhaustion.

Looking back, though, was it worth the hassle? Absolutely. MT5 is lightning-fast, blowing MT4 out of the water in terms of speed and performance. Plus, the range of trading options it opens up—crypto, commodities, shares, and forex—has given me so much more flexibility. The platform’s sleek design and smooth functionality have completely transformed how I approach trading, making it more enjoyable and efficient. My only regret is not biting the bullet and making the switch years earlier. I’m still kicking myself for sticking with MT4 for so long when MT5 was this good all along. I’ve learned that when you get old, you can get stubborn and stuck in your ways, and I’m living proof of that.

Thanks for sharing your journey of switching from MT4 to MT5. I can totally relate to how tough it must’ve been to dive into a new platform, especially when the old platform (MT4) is something we all have been using for decades. You nailed it when you said we get stubborn as we age. It’s human nature when it comes to change, even when we know a change could be a game changer. Why I’m Wrapping Up XU v009 and Focusing on Trading in 2025
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve developed XU v009, and let me tell you, it’s faster, more stable, and the best version yet. Through years of tinkering and applying ourselves, we learn, adapt, and refine our craft, and v009 is the culmination of that journey. That said, this will be my final major release, as I’m ready to shift my focus entirely to trading. Coding has been rewarding, but at this stage, I’m too old for the grind of constant development and just want to enjoy the thrill of trading with the systems I’ve built.

With XU v009, I’m excited to open things up for the community. I’ll be releasing the full source code for two key indicators: Dash3 and Panelfusion2. This will let everyone customize them to their broker feeds, ensuring we’re all on the same page and can make the most of these tools. I’ve got a few minor updates to polish up on a couple of other indicators, and then I plan to post v009 sometime next week. After that, I may share occasional minor updates if new trading strategies spark some ideas, but my main focus will be on trading, not coding. I am not going anywhere, I am just switching up from coding to Directional Play in trading.

The MT5 community is thriving, and I’m grateful for folks like mrtools, kvak, and Cagliostro, who are constantly churning out fantastic MT5 indicators that complement my setup and can boost your winning ratio. Then you’ve got traders like Curioso, Greg, and Musashi, who are out there consistently hitting their daily goals, sharing their strategies, and showing others how it’s done. Their dedication is inspiring, and it’s a reminder that applying yourself pays off.

As I’ve said before, 2025 is shaping up to be a game-changer for MT5 trading systems and how we approach trading. The platform’s speed, versatility, and growing ecosystem are unmatched. Now that I’ve got MT5 and XU v009 running smoothly, I’m eager to dive deeper into trading, test new strategies, and reap the rewards of all the work I’ve put in over the years. Switching to MT5 was a challenge at times—learning curves and code tweaks weren’t always fun—but it’s been worth every second. I only wish I’d made the leap sooner. Here’s to trading smarter, having fun and thriving in 2025!
