The point remains that at every time the Ukr army went on the back foot the west stepped in to escalate and do something they said they would not do. The Ukr manpower shortage is just the latest thing and now that Putin just warned them of the consequences of sending NATO troops then sending Ukrainians would be in keeping with a string of broken western promises.

Little Peuttie should be careful what he wishes for. Independent WWIII analysts are projecting that NATO will fully enter the the war if Russia invades substantially further into Ukraine. Multiple NATO nations are now confirming that fact:

Must have missed the news this week when Macron said he would Not be sending troops to Ukraine, as did Italy, Poland and the US. The UK didn't bother as they don't have an army to send and Germany definitely won't be as it didn't go so well last time they tried it.

In fact Italy proposed a joint NATO statement saying there would be no NATO troops going to Ukraine was agreed and expected release after this weekend.

Even Biden is not so demented as to send troops to Ukraine, a country that 75% of Americans don't give a shit about, just months before an election.

This is why there is suddenly a new emphasis on getting Ukrainians back who ran to other EU countries. First Poland started arresting Ukrainians, now looks like Romania is prepping the way.
