I think the uptrend seems risky because if you look closely, the down candles are stronger than the up candles. This suggests something might be happening beneath the surface—something is cooking. I’m not entirely sure if I'm right, but let’s see how it plays out.

I was in the same situation. My missing piece was the higher time frame and also liquidity. Try to add a second smaller chart with a higher time frame and test it for a few weeks. With the weekly/monthly open lines ray + FVG's I can for example often pinpoint the exact position of a sema that won't repaint.

Take a stepback for sometime and trade demo using the strategy until you find consistency!

I'm in a similar position as you—I put in effort every day to grasp the concepts. Don't get discouraged, the journey is tough, but the results are incredible. Focus on the end goal and what you'll achieve next. Keep trying until you succeed. I'm still try to find my own path, but I believe you've already taken the first step by joining this amazing community.

Stay patient and keep your focus. By the way, I'm still learning too.
