Hey, I have a question about the session. What is the impact of the session scope? Does the range of the Asian session affect the London session? How can watching what range the price will perform in a given session help us?

One thing I watch for is often there is a reversal at the open of the London Session.

Usually the low or the high of the Asia Session gets swept, because there are SL and limit orders placed by traders from Asia.
Banks need this kind of liquidity to enter the market with their huge positions.

The London Session is usually the low or the high of the day.

Here is an example of a typical Asia Session sweep and also the London Session being the low of the day.

Still learning, but took a few trades today. Got stopped out in the direction it was supposed to go anyways, but later realised I did not spot the AMD formation. But recovered the loss later in the day.

I did have a question on the Image below, since AM the BLUE UP Arrow has been visible and repainted and went down with the price. Its been a bit confusing for me, as I felt price was at a reversal point. But I saw it happen on all pairs today, so avoided it, but would be keen to understand why it happens.

All the semafors repaint. Until you see something like this, ignore the arrow and assume the downtrend is still in play.

All Semaphores will RECALCULATE if price pushes beyond it. They are only set in stone when a new Semaphore the same size with opposite colour appears. IE in the image below the Blue Square Semaphore can still move lower if price moves lower, the Red Semaphore in the top left will never move as there is the blue on the low.

When a larger Semaphore appears be aware that there may be a reversal but price still can push further. When a second dot appears and the price crosses the moving averages is when you would take trades moving away from the square Semaphore.

Just keep watching how they behave and it will start to make sense.

XXXX wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2024 8:12 am This will help you, I have modified the V66 Trend Box Indicator for V65m. The more dots you have in the same colour indicates the trend's strength in that direction. If all are red like the JPN225 example you should have an excellent success rate taking short setups. Not only does having all the dots the same indicate safer entries, but it is also very likely to get much larger profits. However, the AUS200 example is a mixed bag.

Gidday XXXX,
I find your XXXX v65m-TRENDBOX indicator to be very useful, thank you. I wanted to ask if possible to add X and Y settings to enable it to be relocated around the chart?
Furthermore, would it be possible to develop inputs or settings that enable it also to be applied to earlier versions of the Xard Universe? I am assuming that in its current form it can be applied to any chart running EMA13 EMA55 and EMA200?

Thanks again for all of your helpful contributions to the forum. Regards, Ric

Actually, it is Xard's indicator I just modified it to work with V65.

Here it is modified for V13m, the logic is quite different to V65.

To show Up Trend these are the conditions for each time frame
Price is above all 3 EMAs and the 13EMA is above the 55EMA.

To show Down Trend these are the conditions
Price is below all 3 EMAs and the 13EMA is below the 55EMA.

Otherwise the indicator displays a grey dot for that time frame.
