Would you mind adding the first, second higher TF in the options? In this way people can switch TF being sure that the MTF Cycle is always setup on the correct TF.

Xards instructions are to use 30 minute and 5 minute, that would not work if I hard coded it to the next higher. I have thought about it, I can make it so that you can set a upper TF for a range of lower TF. I will post an updated version later.

Can I ask if we should wait 5 min to aleign with 30min ? 30 min is bearish for while, but we have BIG SEMAFOR UP on 5 mins for while as well.

I am testing out the XU MTF CYCLE indicator that XXXX upgraded.
It is really great for Directional Play.
Here it is in bottom sub-window with the default M30 settings.

I have changed the inputs so you can set a higher timeframe for M1 through to H1. So if you would like to change the TF of your main trading chart this indicator will work with the Higher Timeframe in the settings. As per the original version if the timeframe you have chosen is not higher than the chart it is loaded on the indicator will not load.

ie M5highperiod=PERIOD_M30; this setting is for when you are trading on the M5 chart, the Cycles indicator will be set to M30.

The Alert Spacing setting is the number of seconds between alerts so you don't get too many alerts.

I trade 90% of the times on 5M but see that many people love the 1M adrenalin. 30M bias for 1M makes almost no sense, this version is really super!

BIGSema , identify the major trend, in your case wait for the SEMArrow in your direction.
One tip maybe helps you, in the latest version you can find the latest version of template and be useful for you.

When I started trading 2-3 years ago using EMA's it seemed ineffective. I looked for many solutions thinking that any other strategy would be reliable. The help of this community here, I started looking at Ema's and sema's in a new way. My patience and consistency is being tested every day, which is difficult but I believe that thanks to you I will look at the chart in a clearer and easier to understand way. Yesterday was a slow day with small movements however in such a situation scalping gave me a good result.
