wait for bullish point on m15 and carry out trading on m5

if you are scalping you could have done this buy on 5 minutes, after identifying the second point

When I started trading as an hobby, 12 years ago, my mentor, a funny and exceptional trader from Merrlyl Lynch, told me this about timeframes.

"It's easy, when you get this perspective. When you compare lower TF with higher TF, consider the higher TF like your wife, and yourself as the lower TF. Tell me, in nature, how things go 99% of the times. Now you have your trading edge for life".

What I would do:

First, I’d switch to the V12, V65m, or any XARD template that includes at least 2 Moving Averages.
Second, I wouldn’t focus too much on the semafor dots.
For me, the Moving Averages and their ribbon indicate the market direction on any timeframe, while the semafor dots only suggest possible reversal points.

My simple rules:

If candles are above the MAs = bullish trend
If candles are below the MAs = bearish trend
If MAs are in the middle of the candles = No Trade

Regarding your question: In your M15 screenshot, it’s clear that the MA is in the middle of the candles. So, regardless of what the semafor dots suggest, just wait until a trend is established. This is a simple trend-following system 😁, not a trend prediction system or anything else 😅.

Hello Andreas2000,

If you missed that, no worried, but don´t try catch the trend without any the patterns you are looking for.

I see you have the triangles an old version, maybe is not parameterized for the v12m.

Don´t forget, protect your entry with an Stop Loss
