This system is complex if you read it diagonally, but it starts with a simpler version, for example 65. It may not even take a month or a year, but it's like a job that takes a lot of patience and dedication, and like everything else in life, it requires discipline, a winner's mindset and not a loser's mindset, but you can do it because is possible a life changer.

Version used to document this process, which for me remains the reference version because of the value management of EMA.
XU-v65 Setup

#1. BIG SEMA , identity your major trend
#2. MINI DOT opposite direction, then we wait
#3. MINI DOT in your direction -> wait
#4. Colored DOT opposite direction, then we wait
#5. Daily Open, in your direction, so we are looking for all the trends valid for the buy
#6. MINI DOT opposite direction, then we wait
#7. MINI DOT in your direction -> wait
#8. Colored DOT same direction, then we wait
#9. MINI DOT opposite direction, then we wait
#10. MINI DOT in your direction -> enter on this point
#11. RSI is cross the line 50 and histogram are green
#12. MINI DOT opposite direction, then we wait
#13. Daily Open, in your direction, so we are looking for all the trends valid for the buy
#14. ADR is upper 15% so is valid for BUY signal
#15. MINI DOT in your direction -> another valid entry
#16. SEMA Arrow in opposite direction so then we wait and continue the trend and watch the move of EMA
#17. Index Entry is a controversy indicator for me, sometimes I preferred to ignore that
#18. MINI DOT opposite direction, then we wait

Since you not see the future chart can you tell me why you not entered after point 3 blue candle? Everything is good for entering.
Why dont you enter after point 8 blue candle? everything is clear to enter buy.

I believe many users prefer version 65, so I will be sharing a modified version of it, which includes the following features:

1. Price Above/Below the Daily Open Line indicator.
2. UP/DN SQUARE text box enhancement.
3. Adjusted Panel1 to accommodate Bitcoin values.
4. Option to color in the Asian Session box to use as a breakout box for the London/US sessions.
5. Replace the Symbol changer with the Dash indicator.

Additionally, all input edit commands will be enabled for manual user input.
I will post this update over the weekend.

Metatrader should support every indicator for mt4 to convert MT5.. otherwise every user has its own setup. If dealers stop using MT4, a lof of people will be hurt
What do you think about it? Do you think will there be any any solution?
xard777 wrote: Tue May 21, 2024 3:11 am Re: MT4 Longivity & MT5 Adoption

MT4 (MetaTrader 4) has indeed been out for quite some time now, having been released in 2005. Despite the release of MT5 (MetaTrader 5) in 2010, MT4 has shown remarkable longevity and resilience in the trading community. Let’s break it down for clarity:

### 1. **Longevity of MT4:**
- **User Base:** MT4 continues to have a strong and loyal user base even more than a decade after its release. This longevity is primarily due to its robust, user-friendly interface and a rich ecosystem of Expert Advisors (EAs), indicators, and scripts developed by a vast community.
- **Support:** While MetaQuotes, the company behind MetaTrader, officially ended support for MT4 in 2018 to encourage migration to MT5, many brokers still offer MT4 due to its popularity.
- **Functional Specialization:** MT4 has cemented its place, especially among retail forex traders, due to its simplicity and efficiency for forex trading.

### 2. **Adoption and Transition to MT5:**
- **Slow Adoption:** The adoption of MT5 has been relatively slow compared to MT4. Several factors contributed to this:
- **Compatibility Issues:** Many traders and developers invested significant time and resources in MT4 and were reluctant to transition due to compatibility issues with existing EAs and custom indicators.
- **Education and Training:** The community, educators, and brokers heavily invested in MT4 training materials, further creating inertia against switching to MT5.
- **Enhanced Features of MT5:** MT5 is a multi-asset platform that supports not only forex trading but also trading in stocks, commodities, and futures. It has advanced features like a built-in economic calendar, improved charting tools, and a depth-of-market feature, which make it appealing for more experienced traders.

### 3. **Market Preferences:**
- **MT4 for Forex Traders:** If your primary focus is forex trading and you rely on existing EAs and custom indicators, MT4 remains a solid choice.
- **MT5 for Diverse Strategies:** If you require more advanced trading tools, support for additional asset classes, or are developing new trading systems from scratch, MT5 may be more suitable.

### 4. **Broker Support:**
- Many brokers continue to support both MT4 and MT5, allowing traders to choose based on their preferences and needs. Some brokers also provide incentives for traders to transition to MT5, highlighting its superior features.

### Conclusion
In summary, while MT4’s official support by MetaQuotes has ended, its use is still widespread due to its simplicity, reliability, and extensive community support. MT5 adoption has been growing, particularly among those looking for advanced trading capabilities and multi-asset trading. The decision to use MT4 or MT5 often comes down to the trader’s specific needs, existing investments in trading tools, and the type of assets they trade.

Ultimately, both platforms offer robust solutions, and the choice largely depends on individual trading strategies and preferences.
Personally, I will continue to use MT4 for all my trading needs until brokers no longer support it. Then, I will have no choice but to adopt MT5 and convert my setup to the MT5 platform. Hopefully, we still have a few more years of fun trading MT4.

I’m just backtesting the new version XU-015 on Soft 4X , on XAUUSD , on 15min and 1min and just noticed that on the 1min TF it repaints , is it like that real time when
trading ?

I’ve attached some pics of the screen , please let me know?
I hope it doesn’t repaint in real time ?

Cheers
XARD: Yeah, I do not use 1min TF, best with 5m, 15m & 30m TFs
Hi, I work in m1 and I suggest you to set automatic update to 1 minute.

As xard777 says 5m is better. I am trying to convert my operation to 5m, but it is not easy, it takes some time.
XARD: Been there, done that, blew the account and tore the t-shirt up. The quicker you move away from 1min the less you blow up your account. Personally, I use 5min & 30min TFs and even though I try 15min, I tend to always go back to 5min & 30min in the end. It makes life so much easier.
