Very little actual news out about Zelensky's meet with Biden, the same usual rhetoric about Putin 'must not be allowed to win' which is basically all there is now and so the temptation for one last escalation by the west is growing stronger.

The west has run out of all the usual stuff to send as well as money (just given the last $5 billion until January 2025 at the very earliest, but possibly no more ever). The only escalation possible is mass drone, missile strikes deep into Russia which is the reason for Putin's warning and lowering of the Russian nuclear threshold yesterday.

Zelensky's trip to the US ended in success as he got a pat on the back from Biden, Harris and - err Trump (?) Which was all he could have hoped for to stave off the threats of an imminent coup back in Kiev.

The other items on his wish list 'victory plan' he never really expected anyway. The money he got was the last of the $62 Bln package promised at the end of last year.

Meanwhile, having issued orders to the military to fight to the death instead of retreat while he was in the US, it's back to normal. The famous 72nd brigade are now totally surrounded by the Russians in Ugledar and the retreat from Kursk has now begun.

And another 4 F-16s believed destroyed after a second Russian missile strike on the Ukraine air base making a total of 8 planes lost over 2 days.
