This indicator make a sound each time a new tick is deteccted

the value for the tick can be a new Ask, a new Bid or (Ask+Bid)/2 to ensure you never miss a tick

there are 16 sounds to choose from by default and you can also use your own sounds if you want
initially there was only one built-in sounds, which is a sheppard tone (a sound that continuously goes up or down seamlessly) but later I added 15 more sounds

This is very useful for manual tick scalping, as you'll know when price is going strongly in one direction

this is very useful for scalpers

The indicator has many more settings and shows a big "MUTE" button if you need to make it silent and everything is customizable (like size and position) !

a Sheppard tone is this :

it seems to continuously go up or down, infinitely, by injecting lower frequencies again and again

Apologies Jeff I didn't mean to be rude like that it's just odd because you've released so many other codes in to the trading community that were better and even free.

It's a good idea for tick traders but isn't it the same as the Scalpers Buddy but yours is for ticks instead of pips?

no worries.

i'm selling some but i'm also sharing some.

TickSound isn't that easy to make,
I had to cut each Sheppard sounds manually (74 of them) so that it loops,
create 15 other sounds in Ableton Live, and then code all of it
it's a lot of work
it looks easy to make ("yeah one tick = one sounds, easy) but it's not that easy
I had to take into consideration the length of each sounds so that it doesn't "click" whenever I play two sounds consicutively, etc

If you made an iphone app that allows forex backtesting
Would it make bank? as i have not seen any such thing
Perhaps trading view already does this

I would imagine this is too difficult but would be cool and very useful if could upload forexstation mt4 indicators
