Has anyone seen a simple 'zone indicator' based on moving averages - the colour of the chart background changes when, for example, the sma 36 is crossed by the price.
The usefullness is only apparant in real time trading when there is sideways movement of the price.

not sure if this is what you mean but couldn't XARD's zones do that?

If both 1 and 2 MAs are set to 36 then you get background colour change on price cross of MA.

Look here, many types of MA zones.

most are 2 MA crossover but can use same period (36) but diff 'Price' input, eg 1 open and other close.

Is this bay ground colour will appear on the Same current bar or after bar crosses the line late 1 bar!
i am unable to find this situation!
