Yea, I agreed with this. Micro is probably the best option if you are starting off and want to take it easy with funds.

Practicing and learning with real money is the only way to understand emotions and mind set in trading, it just simply cannot be taught on a demo account.

Yes I think moving to a micro account is a sensible next step once you graduate to live trading from demo. It's not about the money that can be made but exposure to the now real risk of losing money. So best to mitigate that with a micro account and then not overload your brain as you get used to it.

I learned on demo and then opened a 0 commission account. Considered micro accounts but I found that the terms for the account I chose were really competitive and wanted to avoid the high spreads that typically come with micro accounts.

It is better to start as this will give you the time for understanding and managing the risk associated with real money. with this start maintaining journals so that in future know what was the exit and entry points.
