11MT4 is quite good if you are only planning to trade forex. I trade USD/JPY, and the spreads I get on fxview are sweet.

My vote goes to MT4. I have been using hankotrade’s shitty MT4 trading platform for some time now and it's so good I join forums on behalf of this bucketshop broker and spam my recommendations everywhere.

17I prefer MT4! I know MT5 is available and I may have a bias towards the original version because I’m used to it but I’ve always preferred it over any other platform I’ve used.

18I prefer MT4 as well. I am used to it and its functionality and it serves my needs as a trader perfectly well. I see no need to switch it.

20It doesn't make a great deal of difference for me. I do my analysis on Trading View, so I only need the basic functions to enter my trades. I use MT4 as I'm used to it and also have a little MT4 based EA that I run on the side.
