Thanks kvak,
I'll look into it.

I have another question regarding regarding some behavior I noticed with the Momentum indicator.
This behavior becomes especially noticeable when I overlay the Momentum indicator on another channel-like indicator, such as the TDI indicator in this case. In these scenarios, the issue stands out even more clearly.
The TDI indicator seems to be working correctly and does not repaint, but the Momentum indicator exhibits some strange behavior that I cannot fully understand.
Maybe some can help me there?

For example:
When I look at yesterdays USDJPY M15 chart and scroll back to 11:00 (so that the completed candle of 11:00 is visible), the Momentum indicator (pink line) crosses the lower TDI channel. However, when I scroll forward into the future (back to the more current chart area), the Momentum indicator no longer shows a crossing with the TDI channel at 11:00.

This behavior seems to be specific to the Momentum indicator, as the TDI indicator remains consistent and works correctly. It’s also worth mentioning that the Momentum indicator shows this behavior even without floating levels – so the issue appears to be independent of that feature.

Is there any way to adjust or change this behavior? Perhaps an option could be added to address this issue or stabilize the Momentum indicator’s calculations in this regard. I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions on this matter!

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
Kayleb

Hello, being that is using the built-in momentum and you are not using mtf don't think it would be repainting. If using mtf this is typical mtf behavior which can repaint until the mtf bar is complete.

Problem is that you use it in one window, see picture, indicator lines seems different when you scroll some candles out. but values is same...

First of all, thank you for your responses, mrtools and kvak!

I’m still not entirely sure if I fully understand this. Does this mean that the issue is primarily a visual rendering problem in MetaTrader when overlaying two indicators in the same window?

I’d really appreciate any further insights on this—thanks in advance!

Dear kvak,
I have tested your indicator for an extended period and am absolutely thrilled. Its precision is hard to beat, and the many customization options make it a real pleasure to use.

Would it be possible for you to add a button?

Best regards,
Kayleb
