Stochastic Summed with Multi-timeframe & Alerts
Hello, changed it too stochastic.
What is the Stochastic Summed indicator?
Like the RSI Summed indicator developed by Mladen, the Stochastic "Summed" checks the NNN (next-nearest-neighbour) Stochastic values based on the periods set in the indicator. It looks to see if all NNN Stochastic values are above or below a certain threshold. If all values are above, it shows an upward trend; if all are below, it shows a downward trend. If the values are mixed, the indicator shows a Neutral state.
As per RSI Summed, some might argue that this state could be determined by just looking at the slowest RSI, but this isn't always true since it relies heavily on the chosen periods. Thus, the indicator will evaluate all the specified Stochastic values.
The periods can be listed using colons to separate them. The default setting is
14;15;16;17;18;19;20;21
.
