It looks like the super signal channel. Of course, it recalculates. The non-recalculating version
called the Donchian channel is appropriately shifted.

It's good for post-factum analysis only, I'm afraid, just as TMA, SSA (not end-pointed), Fourier and other stuff like that.
BTW, Laplace transform would be interesting to test as well as the Nyquist–Shannon sampling theorem
(Prof. Mladen, what do you think?)...

guys, it's an indicator, not a trading strategy...

I think, first of all, make the original version two-color.
It will show better how the indicator behaves, and whether it can be used
in a simple way.

I'm looking for a good daily trading system, that is, for daily charts
(with one trading decision per 24 hours for opening of the new daily candle).
If anybody knows about such a system(s), please share!

For a negative shift it will always recalculate. Put shift to be equal to 0,
and the indicator will show its real face...
