Of course when higher TF applied,it will print and display signal/line color change when belong bars of the applied TF (in your case 5 bars) completed

So it is working with you on mtf
it is how higher time frame indicators work and display on lower time frames
try applying next higher time frame - for example M15 on M5 TF chart
