While I appreciate that you are providing free content for people, what is your own background in terms of trading success using this method? Anything verifiable? Apologies for sounding abrupt but as you can imagine, spending enough time in this space leaves you cynical.

I honestly didn't realise people were still using it for TA. Just seems easier to do my TA on TV on a computer and then check the broker feed on MT4 for specific points and place entries.

Apparently they are working together to find a solution which to me implies it isn't anything to do with the Russia situation but I guess we'll see.

No they all have their own nuances and that leaves you chasing your tail too much. Have a small basket and learn them well.

I normally use a static stop loss placed where I think structure breaks down and invalidates my trade. It's just a logical place to exit the trade for me. I don't overcomplicate it.

Was always a bit more difficult to have MT4 on Mac but as of a few days ago, they really made it difficult!

MT4 does what people need it to. There is enough to overcomplicate in trading without the trading platform being one of them. Most simply have no need for the extras that MT5 provides.
