Especially because the color coding tells you when price is continuing to trend, which is a great warning for mean reversion traders to avoid prematurely placing a trade unless they are willing to handle a significant drawdown.

You can see when price is slowing down / reversing
as TransparentTrader mentioned and when price picking up momentum.
