64Signal To Noise Filter for MT4
This is the Signal To Noise Filter which was first coded by Luis Guilherme Damiani. It's an ideal sideways filter to guide traders on when to stay out of the market and was upgraded by Mladen several years ago with additional options like Deviations Method and various code optimizations.
What does it do?
The purpose of this indicator is to identify market phases that have too small amplitudes. These phases are useless even for systems designed for trading ranges markets.
Conditions for trading
For the Histogram Bars version, please see: Signal To Noise Filter Histogram indicator.

Conditions for trading
- When the Green line is BELOW the gray line - DON'T take any trades
- When the Green line is ABOVE the gray line, this signals strong volatility and trending markets. Trades into the direction of the trend are permitted

Do you know if there's a histo version of this? (with histogram for diference between the two lines, cause seems interesting that "strength" analysis).
Thanks.

If not maybe it can go to the "to do list" (if there's one…)?
Thanks.

67From the screenshot I think it is this one. A rather unusual setting but works like on the shot. When the green line is above the red, signal to trade, below - do not tradeBleemus wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2019 9:53 am

70Hello there.
I have been a member here for a short while and am blown away by the great work
done by all the contributers here, especially Mr tools and Mladen.
It seems meber medotrader has not responded.
I too would like an histogram version of this indicator.
Please see attached pic.
When the Blue line is above the black, the histo could be green
and when it is below the black it could be orange.
Similar to the Red/Blue Histo in the attached pic.
Thank you so much in advance.
PS: For the Histogram version, please see here: Damiani Volatmeter Histogram for MT4.
