QQE Node4x
Slight adjustment so QQE line appears above the histogram. Thank you to Pin for the
source and creating this version which is a unique indicator due to it's coloring and "extreme" signals.
As this is a different kind of QQE code, I'd like to reply to this in our dedicated QQE topic.
What is the difference between the standard QQE and this version by Node4x?
Several noteworthy differences:
- This version of the QQE centers everything around 50 (subtracts 50 from values), so the zero line is the true "center".
- This QQE also adds the Bollinger Bands (SMA + Standard Deviation) on the QQE minus 50 values used to detect "extreme" moves for coloring the strongest bars.
Compared to the standard indicator, this QQE adds confluence rules, histogram strength coloring, and a volatility signal (Bollinger Bands) to emphasize only the most significant moves.
It's basically a filtered QQE on steroids.
