Hello I'm manually backtesting my strategy on mt4 by scrolling through the charts and comparing my entry, t/p and s/l to price movement on the charts. I would like to fast track this process so I can compile data and determine the best placement of my stop loss and ideal exit point or rrr.
I was looking for an indicator or mt4 hack that would allow me to backprint the historical data from the charts with my template overlaid. When I try to print straight from terminal it only allows me to print the current page but ideally I would like the prinout (to pdf) at least a year or more.
Can someone advise what I can do to get aroud this or provide insight on how it can be done?
Thank you
Re: Print MT4 Chart Range
2never mind i figured it out.
Just use a screen recording software. You can either playback video and make a spreadsheet or (which i prefer) use a screen recording software that allows you to annotate and print out videoframes as images.
