1. Unzip the package.

2. In your MT4 terminal choose File > Open Data Folder, then open MQL4.

3. Copy SimonNews_MT4.ex5 into MQL4\Indicators.
If supplied, copy SimonNews_Downloader.ex4 into MQL4\Experts.
The downloader is optional and is used only for Forex Factory news.

4. Restart MT4, or right-click Navigator and choose Refresh.
Drag SimonNews_MT4 from Navigator > Indicators onto your chart.
Keep MT4 connected to the internet.

NEWS SOURCE
Auto uses a fresh Forex Factory cache if available; otherwise, the MT4 calendar.
MT4 built-in calendar works without a downloader or WebRequest setup.

For Forex Factory:
- Go to Tools > Options > Expert Advisors.
- Enable Allow WebRequest for the listed URL and add:
https://nfs.faireconomy.media
- Attach SimonNews_Downloader to ONE spare chart and leave that chart open.
- Keep the indicator on Auto, or select Forex Factory only in InpDataSource.
One downloader serves all Simon News charts in the same terminal.
Use a spare chart to avoid replacing an existing trading EA.
