Rather than starting entirely from scratch, I believe we could make faster progress by sharing ideas, experience, and existing work.
Here's the idea:
If you have developed an EA, or even have an early version that works reasonably well but still has limitations, bugs, or room for improvement, I'd love to hear from you.
You don't need to have a perfect or fully finished product. Even a basic working prototype could be a valuable starting point.
By combining our knowledge, comparing different approaches, sharing code where possible, and testing new ideas together, we could gradually improve existing implementations and develop more advanced and reliable versions.
What could we work on together?
Improving entry and exit logic.
Reducing false signals and improving trade filtering.
Developing better risk management and position management.
Improving trailing stops and profit protection.
Identifying and fixing bugs and logic errors.
Optimizing performance across different market conditions.
Making the code cleaner, more modular, and easier to maintain.
Backtesting ideas and sharing meaningful, reproducible results.
What I'm looking for
I'm interested in connecting with:
MQL5 developers who have existing EA code or working prototypes.
Traders who have developed strategies that could be automated.
People who enjoy testing, debugging, and improving trading systems.
Anyone willing to contribute ideas, technical skills, feedback, or testing experience.
You don't have to be an expert or have a complete EA ready to share. A willingness to collaborate and learn from each other is what matters most.
How we can get started
If you're interested, please leave a comment describing what you've been working on, what your EA currently does, and what you'd like to improve.
If you have an existing implementation you're comfortable sharing, feel free to mention it. We can discuss the technical details, establish clear goals, and decide how best to collaborate.
Of course, everyone should retain appropriate credit for their contributions, and we should agree on code-sharing permissions and licensing before combining or redistributing anyone's work.
My goal isn't simply to collect EAs. It's to build a collaborative environment where we can learn from one another, turn promising ideas into working solutions, and create something better together.
If this sounds interesting to you, let's connect and see what we can build as a team!
Looking forward to hearing your ideas and meeting potential collaborators.
