Well, yeah, you could put it that way. On the other hand, for people like me who don’t know how to code, it helps create something that might be useful—it might not be written perfectly, but it can still be useful. To you as a programmer, the code might look terrible, but if it works reasonably well, why not take advantage of the possibilities that AI offers.

I think a lot of real programmers use AI, too, because it speeds up their work—it's just that they're able to correct the AI's mistakes and ask better questions

The comment was sarcastic on purpose. AI is helping tons of people to realize what the always dreamt of. But it's also filling coders' inboxes with requests to fix fantasy code structures. A coder with AI is a better coder, me with AI does not make a better painter.
