I've noticed some swing lines missing.
I think this is due to a large outside bar so all the following bars inside of it are ignored.
Would it be possible to make the swing chart turn when two consecutive bars inside the outside bar ,
make higher high and higher low or lower high and lower low.

I attached a pic of Daily CADJPY with zigzag-ed line to visually present what I mean.
I hope I'm not too annoying with these requests.
Thank you.

God bless.

firesword wrote: Mon Jul 13, 2026 5:44 pm All right friends.

Now that we have the power of Gann swing charts with us,
let's take a look at GBPAUD weekly trend .
The trend according to the swing chat is up.
Is it smart to short it then?
Let's analyze this, shall we?
Gann said that the safest place to buy is on the first higher swing bottom,
and the safest place to sell is at the first lower swing top.

On the weekly GBPAUD 3 weeks ago we had confirmed 1st higher swing bottom.
This points to higher prices on GBPAUD.
The last swing range from the bottom up was 584 pips.
Currently the range up to the last week top is 570 pips, almost 100% of the previous range.
This means we may be due for a pullback.
The last pullback of 584 pips range was 353 pips.
That is 60%, not quite 62.5% but close enough.
If we have the same pullback this time we would get 342 pips on the way down
That would give us a target of 1.9020 low.
If we get a 50% pullback that would take us to 1.9078 low.
After a 50% pullback a 100% range up would take us to 1.9635, some 557 pips.
A 100% range from 62.5% pullback would give us a 100% range up to 1.9560.

Now that we have our price targets let's see what happens.
A work in progress to draw the targets as per this post and levels seems close,

Ok dear friends.
It looks like a pullback may have started on GBPAUD.
Yestrday's daily low has just been broken.
Now the question is should we go short and target 50% and 62.5% area for TP,
or should we wait for it to play out and then go long once the pullback is over?
It is looking juicy for some 150 to 200 pips on the way down.

Good Afternoon family,

This forum is really family, in the spirit of family I am sharing my own update to this super interesting indicator.

I am not as smart as the amazing coders here, so this is just a dashboard of this indicator that simply shows directional bias based on this indicator,

it has MTF capabilities, and it can scan your entire marketwatch or simply scan just the pairs you trade.

open to feedback, reviews etc.

I believe the hack to the market is settling three things;
- Directional Bias
- Areas/Points of Interest
- Entry/Confirmation Trigger

This indicator clearly helps with Directional Bias

I am not profitable yet, but soon by God's grace, I will be.

Sharing an updated version of the Gann Swing Chart Pro.
The swing logic is exactly the same as before, all the changes are in the dashboard, which has grown into a proper little control panel.

What's new in the dashboard:

Draggable: Just grab the header and move it anywhere. It stays inside the chart and remembers where you left it.
Click to act:
click FLIPS AT to drop a "swing stop" line on the chart that ratchets with the swing;
click TREND to draw the trend-invalidation line.

Status strip: A thin colour bar: green when the swing is up, red when down, orange when the swing and the Gann trend disagree.

THIS LEG meter: A fill bar (green / amber / red) so you can read swing exhaustion at a glance instead of a number.

Live distance to the FLIPS AT and TREND levels (in pips): Updating live.

Next-bar countdown: So you know how long until the bar closes.

Auto-contrast theme background opacity, and a subtle drop shadow.

Still in there from before: Non-repainting swing structure, higher-timeframe overlay + alignment, swing statistics, and optional ratio targets + "safest entry" markers.

Everything new defaults ON and tuned to look good out of the box, Every feature is an input you can switch off if you like a cleaner chart.

Big thanks to @Firesword again for the original idea and to @Cagliostro for the Gann work that inspired all of this.

I am sharing the source, so that seniors / experts can enhance it further and share.

Sharing is caring.

Note;
I am not a coder, just learning every day on how to use and harness the AI ( trying to tame the beast)

GBPAUD was 14 pips short of 100% target on the weekly uptrend.

Let's wait and see whether 50% or 62.5% is the retracement end before
the uptrend continues

Just a heads up for the next week traders.
AUDJPY is heading towards the top of 2nd of June 114.91
It ran down for 22 days to 2nd of July. That is a full calendar month
Currently it is 15 days from the low of 2nd of July and 23 calendar days.
There were positive news for AUD today with the employment data.
This is all just all lining up nicely for AUD to reach the tops.
Keep your eyes for the shorts next week.

God bless.

Hello traders and friends.
I waited for AUDJPY to get to at least 100% extension
before pulling a trigger on shorts. It missed it by 3 pips.
Now, the question is; are we going to see a classic Gann retest of that high
and the stops clean up just above 114.66?
I hope so, otherwise I've missed a really good short I think.

Hello traders.
Another pair worth watching on the weekly TF.
GBPCAD.
It has had a move up and and it was over 100% extension, indicating a strong market.

https://prnt.sc/7t4JN_eo1ZiK

It is currently in a retracement and it shouldn't move past 50% retracement to continue up strong.
Generally if the price retraces to 50% the market is neutral which means
the next leg up should be 100%.

https://prnt.sc/6PoTM02OM2KN

If it retraces to 62.5% then market is weak and safe exit is at 50%, those that are brave
should aim for 75% extension.
Anything like 75% or 87.5% retracement is likely next move up will result in a lower high and a change of trend.

So , the next move up assuming it hits 50% retracement is 741 pips to be precise.
50% retracement = 1.8672
50% extension = previous weekly top 1.9042
75% = 1.9227
100% = 1.9412
I would personally target 1.9400 being a round number.
These kinds of trades I aim for 1:10 R:R otherwise I don't bother.

https://prnt.sc/w-dTDGy-TwxA

Good luck and God bless.
