Pair: EUR/USD
Timeframe: 5min
I use SDI (30min timeframe) on a 5min chart for direction.
Rules:
Blue line crosses above purple → Buy
Blue line crosses below purple → Sell
Also use when the bar turns green (buy) or red (sell) as another trigger
Then I use TMA Bands (5-minute timeframe) for entries.
When I get a signal, I wait for price to hit the third band:
Sell → top third band
Buy → bottom third band
The problem is TMA Bands repaint, so it looks perfect after but not in live trading.
I’m looking for a non-repainting indicator that does something similar — showing good entry zones or extremes like TMA Bands.
I’ve tried other indicators but nothing feels the same.

TMA bands based on fixed lookback periods are always gonna repaint—it's a trap for live trading. instead of chasing holy grail indicators, focus on dynamic support/resistance or volatility logic; that's where the actual market structure lives, not in some lagging repaint tool.
