This is critical! Most people have a system that is spot on and looks perfect in backtesting, but when they apply it in live situations, they get destroyed. That was me. If applying these principles, it will make whatever "holy grail" indicator(s) work exceptionally well. Think of it this way: math is considered the universal language (music too, by the way), so if we can find a way to use it, it can help us in our trading endeavors. For me, moving averages are the number one representation of strength and weakness.
