Re: XARD - Simple Trend Following Trading System
19842hello all, some advice please
I'm running XardFX-mix on mT4 and I recently noticed it was not updating properly
eg an M5 chart updates ok
an M15 & M30 chart becomes up to 1 hour or more late ( ie the bars don't print up to date )
whereas a candlestick chart prints accurately in comparison
I asked the broker who said -- don't worry about it !!
surest way to be in the 95% that I can think of
has anyone else had this problem ?
what did you do / what can be done about it
all advice appreciated

19843just to make it absolutely clear from my prev mail # 19842
the candlestick charts update ok
it's the XardFX- mix charts M15 & M 30 that doesn't update in line with the candlestick chart
same charts, all the same pair

Re: XARD - Simple Trend Following Trading System
19844Thanks for your systems. Continuing with the indicator topic, can you upload the XU-v010 XARD UNIVERSE indicator please, in the source code, But without VWAP+EMAS-v1.20. Sq.xard777 wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 9:32 pm XU EFFECT for MT4
My apologies for not being on this thread as I tend to frequent the MT5 thread instead.
I don't know if anyone has been following the MT5 thread but I recently developed an XU EFFECT_v4.09 indicator for MT5 which I really like using with my trading -- well, here is the MT4 version for everyone here on the thread.
Enjoy! and may you make a boatload of Pip$
Best,

Thanks for this advice!
I've succesfully installed debian 13 on VMWarePlayer, with VMWare Tools working (Main OS is Windows Server 2022).
It also works on the VMWare Workstation which is free now (main extra benefit are the Snapshots).
Was wondering if you could help with this plan:
I'd like to install multiple MT5 and MT4 platforms in the debian 13 VM.
Or make two separate debian 13 VM clones to keep MT4 and MT5 separate (since each clone would only be about 25-30Gbs when running).
How would you suggest you'd best do it for your use with your systems?
I haven't installed the MT5 platform in the debian 13 VM yet. What's the best way you'd recommend installing MT5 and your system in debian 13?
I think I read some time ago you mentioned using docker, but that seems complex for my skills level or too much maintenance (though it seems to be very valuable to use a docker image compared to a VM for the Drive space saved).
I'd prefer if possible using VMWare for the ease of use (just cloning and using snapshots for testing if needed).
Or if possible/available, could you please consider making VMWare VMs for your major releases we could just download and be done with (I see the debian 13 VM is about 12 Gigs when closed so it should be fast to download with some program like IDM).
I could do it and share the VM clone but it might be more reliable to get it from you the source for everyone to enjoy from an official VM dedicated releases post/thread! That way we'd just download it, open it in VMWare Workstation/Player and just trade directly without tweaking/setting up any thing. Using your exact settings and not changing anything, at least for the first few months/weeks of trading, exactly like you do it explained here
"...I only need to click on the selected screen then run a BUY, SELL or CLOSE script."

It would also be a considerable time saver and positive tweaking restriction tool to simply share a VM copy. No more users errors in installing to handle (time saver). And new users could just start using the VM right from the get go without making any change for the first few weeks/months at least (or ideally for me at least and other minimalists never making any change if possible), to combat the tweaking habit impulses.
If you want I can upload a clone of my debian 13 VM and share a download link for you to test directly on VMWare Player/Workstation to save you time, or if you prefer I can share the tutorial I used to install it (it took about 30 minutes to install).
Thanks again!
EDIT:
Here's a new Debian 13.x.x LXqT Install on Vmware Workstation step by step demo:
Still not sure how best to proceed to install MT4 or and MT5 on Debian. I found one demo using Bottles and another using Wine.
Which one is the current one to best use with the Xard scripts? Thanks for your help!
Re: XARD - Simple Trend Following Trading System
19846Special thanks to XARD777 for providing this excellent indicator, which has helped solve the trading execution issues that have troubled me for many years. Wishing you and your family all the best and good luck always. Unfortunately, I have not learned programming yet, so I cannot contribute more. I will find time to teach myself programming. For now, I can only express my sincere gratitude, and I also thank the forex-station forum.

XARD: The RSI MA1 MT5 indicator was actually ported from MT4 original RSI MA1 indicator
Just look through the site and you will come across it
This RSI MA1 MT4 version look great with me, specially I love the setting with HTF. Are you able to convert this indicator to MT5 version. I knew Mr. Xard have made a lot version for MT5 but I can't find any with the same setting for this MT4 version. I don't use divergence, so you can remove it too if needed.
I just want to setup my strategy with MT5 version too but I missed some indicator.
Thank you in advance for your help and if you are able to convert it.
