Hi Jozef,

apologies for the late reply. I have been on vacation over Easter and do not receive email notifications for new posts in this thread, so I missed it until now.

Power Candles and Power Bar are two completely different tools.

Power Candles measures the underlying strength of a currency or symbol and visualizes it directly on your price candles. It shows you the momentum and direction of the move in real time and signals when a significant strength activation occurs. It is a continuous analysis tool that you use on every bar.

Power Bar detects extreme price bars where the candle body is unusually large relative to the ATR, meaning exceptional one-candle momentum. What makes it unique is that it immediately backtests three trading strategies against every such signal on your chart so you can see statistically how those extreme bars have behaved in the past on that specific symbol.

For a beginner I would recommend starting with Power Candles. It gives you a clear and continuous read on market strength and direction which is a solid foundation for learning to trade with momentum. Power Bar is more of an additional tool once you have a feel for how markets move.
