THE DAILY DAX

This week I am trading with only Meridian and an experimental RSIOMA built on the new synthetic MTF framework. I will share later the indicator and details.

The VCD divergence engine is fully implemented and works super well with RSIOMA, divergences are accurate and in real time (no pivots, no delay, no lookahead and repaint).

Meridian trend engine + RSIOMA momentum = VCD look like a deadly trio.

Nice! I see the Master Contributors are reintroducing good old indicators that just simply work; you have the RSIOMA, and Xard has the RSI MA. ;) :thumbup:

As far as I know, original RSIOMA was repainting. Mladen once made a non-repainting version of RSIOMA but it wasn't very useful for trading. Is yours repainting?

Original RSIOMA is not really a typical repainting indicator like TMA. It may update on the current bar, and in MTF mode it can shift until the higher-timeframe candle closes, but once bars are closed it stays stable.

So no, it is not designed to repaint past signals in the usual sense. And this is not repainting.

Adaptive Regime Filter + Divergence

This is a nice indicator, well coded for TradingView from KeyAlgos, discovered and ported by @ionone for MT4

This version is 100% identical in math and logic to the original. After testing it I did not find it "super" but for sure a decent tool to add to our MT5 arsenal. Code is free, respecting the original creator.

PS: If anyone wants to use the spooky looking template the TradingView author uses, I've made one for MT5 below. Just download Cagliostro's indicator and load this tpl file 😋
