It appears that they are perfect, and just my 2 cents, focus more (I mean a lot) to Candle position relative to VWAP and its color, Semaphore only as the last confirmation (Personally I even remove it)
My strategy is very simple, I am using V43
Buy trade: I will wait for price to cross above VWAP and enter trade when candle turns blue, SL is below alligator and TP is up to you
Sell trade: I will wait for price to cross below VWAP and enter trade when candle turns red, SL is above alligator and TP is up to you
In the event when the price hit my SL, I can simply re-check where the price is located, if it is still below/above VWAP, will re-enter when the candle turns blue (for buy) or red (for sell)

For your template, since it is using Heiken Ashi, then SL is below first blue candle's low and TP when candle change color

For me, this strategy removes semaphore confusion.

Getting it installed on stuff was fine, I already Wine anyway but pretty sure the MT5 for mac come with the wine bottler application so its all automatically done when you open MT5. I couldn't get it to connect to my broker and you have to just make sure you do some digging to make sure your inidicators go in the correct folder which previously it used to look for windows C: drive but now Ive found that its a bit better as long as you can find the folder under users/library etc - then it starts with com.meta on mine.

Previously I used to use Crossover but its a yearly subscription - if your profitable from trading its nothing. I took a year away from Meta stuff and switched soley to tradingview just going back to price action only but I'm really interested in testing out these systems again especially since they were updated a ton of times since I was last using Xard and the older Beatle systems. I never really traded them and also since im not using crossover anymore so MT4 doesn't work.

I used to trade the ATS master pattern mostly, with some theory from BTMM and i can do that in tradingview but now Im really trying to get these systems to work for me. Still getting loads of glitches and stuff but it seems to be the same issues the windows guys are having too. So yea, its doable just acts a bit weird sometimes!

Thank you for replying to my enquiry regarding MT5 on Silcon.

In late 2023 I installed Metaquotes MT5 for Apple Macs Silicon on my MBProM3.It ran fine with very few issues.

As the Mac OS updated sometime in 2024 the nightmare began.
Unable to access ‘open data folder’ unable to save ‘templates’ whilst the charting ran OK I was stuck with whatever I had previously setup.

My workaround was to modify files with mql not exe via Metaquotes Editor……..but 'unable to save as’ the new inputs. I resorted to leaving old indicator name but using the the new inputs.
Frustrating to say the least.
The charts work fine and I hope in the future Metaquotes and Crossover sort out the issues.

I’ve always avoided VMs ..lack of knowledge..but installed Parallels 26 trial today 5/03/2026.
Installing Windows11 Arm and MT5 was reasonable easy ‘follow the instructions’.
I’ve had MT5 with Xards Indies etc everything is as it should be easy to use no delays very snappy during the Asian and London open …plenty of action no issues at all.
I also had the Metaquotes for Macs running side by side I could detect no difference in tick updates.

IMHO Parallels at their current discounted price is definitely the way to go at just over a $ a week no doubt next year they will up the price but perhaps Metaquotes and Crossover will sort out the un-usability of the current offering.

Apple Mac minis (imho) offer the best value for money……Apple latest hardware OS installed with future updates very small footprint quiet operation very little heat multiple monitors support.
I reluctantly purchased an MBPro in 2013 because Windows laptops were not so great (imho) I returned a Surface I hoped to love it. The MBPro was replaced in 2023 ……no bootcamp.

I post this in the hope that others with Apple Silicon devices can make an informed decision based on my experiences. I have very little computer or programming knowledge but there is hope for all of us ‘god I hope there are no program issues’ ;-)

Apple hardware with Windows software………damn near perfect lol
Kind regards
Barry

So you enter at the first candle, in this case blue, without waiting for the second point? In these cases, minidots would have yielded a small profit, without predicting the stop loss, or better yet, entering above the first dotted line of the VWAP.

Yes exactly like you said and since the next candle is going back below VWAP, I will take a small lost but that's fine since it is within my trading rule.
