So all in all the idea that NATO is going to ever intervene in the Ukraine conflict is a delusion, let alone the fantasy they could actually win it.

Meanwhile the CIA’s and Zelensky’s idea that this conflict will end with the death of Putin is also a delusion, the Russian public will absolutely support a more hardline leader and the conflict escalation that will come with it.

Trump wants peace now (a ceasefire really which is not the same thing) so he can claim to be the peacemaker as he starts new wars.

Putin wants to wait in order to take more of the Russian speaking east and south oblasts.

Zelensky wants to wait as there are still billions to pocket for himself and the Ukrainian elite all of whom have dual citizenship and none of whom are still actually living in Ukraine.

I thought the low numbers of drone attacks by the Russians recently was due to the adverse effects of cold weather on batteries.

But it turns out that Putin was observing a 1 week energy infrastructure ceasefire that ends tomorrow.

Zelensky posted yesterday that he was so pleased that Putin had finally agreed to a ceasefire, not seemingly aware that it was nearly already over.

And Zelensky is not going to get the security guarantees he wants either. The guarantee that the US will join the hot war as soon as Zelensky can provoke the Russians after any long term ceasefire is in place.

That's the only way he could ever get the lost territories back after all.

On the battlefronts there is fighting in the cities of Leman, Konstantinyka and Kupiansk while the Russian army continues its slow general advance over the rest of the frontlines.
