Yeah, this is a zero-lag hull version (yellow and blue version), definitely faster but not sure about better yet.

This is a Hull moving average based off a Triangular Exponential Moving Average.

Not to be confused with the Triple Exponential Moving Average (TEMA), the Triangular EMA was developed by Patrick Mulloy in 1994.
It does not have a triangular form, the term triple refers to the three layers of EMA smoothing which dramatically reduces lag and is essentially built using three EMA's.
I have access to the January and February 1994 issues where Patrick introduces the DEMA in the January issue, followed by the TEMA in the February issue. I've attached both of them to this post.

I think you meant to say Patrick developed the Triple Exponential Moving Average, because I can't find anything about a Triangular EMA under his name.
