Because there's a partial correlation between USDCNH and GOLD.
USDCNH is Chinese Yuan offshore.
It's different from Chinese Yuan onshore.


Trump just finished a deal with China.
It means that USD is strong.
Chinese Yuan is weak.
So USDCNH goes up and pulls GOLD along with it.
