should we always wait to be above or below the daily open?

in the case of the gold figure, wait until it is above the daily open

The intraday opening line serves as a reference to enhance trading certainty.
Regarding your chart, if it were my analysis, the blue dot (as the second major point) would indicate a potential long opportunity. However, I would wait for the small green dot to appear and only enter a long position upon a moving average crossover.
Prior to that, since the large red dots and small yellow dots show a gradual decline and remain below both the opening line and the VWAP line, I would maintain a short position.

If you see configuration of square and second arrow pointing in the same direction and then second big dot and candle crossing ema enter trade it should be bigger move (higher timeframe alignment).

Visible square don't guarantee you that it won't recalculate. But, but ,but ... just trade like this you will have enough problems figuring out your approach to stops and exits.

The red dots or arrows on the opposite side don't matter. If it were me, I would wait for the small yellow dot to appear and for the moving averages to form a death cross before considering going short. Before that, I would stay long.
