i see an horizontal range which shows kindof indecision, maybe another timeframe would show another point of view.
xu_tdi and TheOracle should help you confirm sub trend... EMA3 shows up trend also

When looking at M30 roadmap, you clearly see that the uptrend was not over

@SOLESHOE

If you don't like new candels than delete "XU Zigzag Candles" and put back "XU EMA TL v1.06 nothing stopping you from doing this.

Trading logic is the same as before .

if you have a look at daily trend for DAX on the excellent "investing" app/website, you can see strong buy sentiment for the day

In my opinion, before opening a deal, you need to look at the senior timeframe, whether there are signs of a breakdown in the market structure. In this example, the upward trend is most likely not over yet. This may be a retracement of the senior timeframe. At the bottom I attach a screenshot in which the arrows mark the square arrow where it was and where it became.
Square arrows, arrows, and dots only obey the parameters of the indicator that are embedded in them and appear when the conditions are met. However, the price may continue to move in the same direction and the arrows/dots will move to new extremes.
Therefore, before opening an order, you need to make sure that the trend is really unfolding.
IMHO.
Sorry for my english.
