Question: what is the Pulsar indicator actually based on? Is it kinda like the MACD but with standard deviation bands or something else?

It's a pure volume oscillator using intrabar microstructure analysis, something I am testing.

The first page of this thread is just the tip of the iceberg, once I quit this job I can’t wait to take up coding again. The ideas in the human mined created from code are a testament to the ability to create nothing from a simple thought.

Every release you post here, I experiment with, even if I don’t fully understand it. Cagliostro, thank you for the trading system. Your work is the only piece of work that makes sense to me. I am studding the system and I need some help from you or anyone else who can correct me.
The below screen is from Gold today around and after NY session. I was planning to take long based on the first screenshot at around 14o'clock (all parameters were in line, just maybe the liquidity was more below then above). Then NY opened and the system recalculated in bearish direction. The bearish scenario is clear how it evolved. But for the long signal, was it only the more liquidity levels below that should have stopped me from long? If the trade was valid, usually when you put your trades at brack even? That long gave some pips and with good management it could be ended without financial loss.

Any help is appreciated

It's very hard to reduce massive math and logical complexity to a very simple mechanical system, but when it happens our experiences change dramatically
The professional code is almost ready, next I will finalize the new version for our community
