Oh, not sure if I include the signal indicator FNC_Semafor_v1.

Does it mean that if I enable the stop loss type setting in FNC_DB_EA, and choose FNC_Semafor_v1, does it have any conflict with the entry & exit rules set by the FNC_DB?
No, it does not conflict with the entry and exit rules set in FNC_DB.
The “Stop Loss Type” setting in FNC_DB_EA is a hard stop.

FNC_DB Functionality Enhanced

The "Width" parameter in the "Dashboard initial display" group has been modified.
If set to zero, the chart window width will automatically adjust based on the number of signal columns.
If there are no signal columns, auto-adjustment will not occur.
This should make strategy development slightly easier.

A new "Window Type" parameter has been added to the "FNC_DB" group.
"Standalone": FNC_DB behaves as before, occupying its own chart window.
"Overlay": FNC_DB is displayed over an existing chart or other indicators.
In this mode, the date/time is not displayed, the symbol changer is limited, and there are various other restrictions.
It's a bit ambiguous whether these are bugs or intentional limitations.
Compatibility with other indicators may cause MT4 to behave as if it has frozen.
This does not happen when used on a bare chart.
We may consider lifting these limitations in the future based on user feedback.

The "Open" button has been removed.
Among the "All" / "Trading" / "Open" / "Total" buttons, the "Open" button has been deleted.
Please use "Trading" instead.
If the "Open" button is essential to you, do let me know — I’ll consider reintroducing it.

More colour settings have been added.
You can now customise the dashboard’s overall colour scheme.
For example, why not use different colours to distinguish between demo and real accounts?

Thank you for your reply and explanation Mr Funchi!

I have applied the latest version of FNC_Zee_SupRes.ex4 to test the result, currently running few trades.

I have attached the image as reference. It seems all the indicators are aligned for entry, except the Support/Resistant part.

Just wondering why it takes the trade, does the Zee_SupRes indicator will appear (all the indicators aligned at that time), and disappear again after awhile?

For my entry, I set Support / resistance for entry in FNC_Zee_SupRes.ex4.

For my exit, I set Scissors (c/w valid display period) in FNC_Zee_SupRes.ex4.

Sorry to keep troubling you. I will try my best to understand the whole concept and system too. I think i will also post in the BEATV5 section to ask about this?

#UPDATED# (26.8.2025)

XAU/USD (BUY)

It seems the ZeeSupRes is repainting and it will 'appear' and 'disappear' when the M30 candles are going up and down. I understand it already. However, why doesn't it take the trade at the 1st long candle (red arrow)? Or perhaps when the 2nd M30 candles formed, the ZeeSupRes only appear, I guess?

USD/CAD (BUY)

It seems the same thing here regarding ZeeSupRes. Perhaps it repaints (disappear) when other indicators are aligned, so it enters the buy trade? I dont think it will based on the previous ZeeSupRes (yellow arrow) to enter the trade right?

EUR/USD (SELL)

It seems everything aligned, except the ZeeSupRes is missing / repainting, it should not based on the previous ZeeSupRes (yellow arrow) right? It seems the ADX TREND is also sloping up (green), just wondering why it takes the sell trade? Or perhaps the ADX TREND was also sloping up (green) and down (red) at that moment, I guess?

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

As what I can observe from auto trading and manual trading, it seems the difference is that, normally in manual trading we will wait all the indicators to align when the M30 candles almost finished forming (5 seconds) before we enter the trade. Auto trading will trade when the indicators align (during the M30 candles forming), indicators will repaint, so during the M30 candles forming, the indicators will going up and down. The direction of the indicators might change when the M30 candles are formed.

Is there any system that only trade before the candles (5 seconds) are formed? Just curious.

This is the second time I’m responding regarding “Zee_SupportResistance. V1.0”.
It repaints.
Although you mentioned that you’re aware of the repainting, it seems you haven’t fully understood what that actually means.

If you check using the tester (backtest), it becomes clear.
Please confirm the indicator’s behaviour yourself.

When I tested it, it kept switching between support and scissors repeatedly.
At the time of the red arrow, I assume it was showing support (though I haven’t checked in detail).

Please check the matter related to “Zee_SupportResistance. V1.0” yourself using the tester (backtest) before asking any questions.
When making an enquiry, please attach the tester results.

Running checks using the MT4 tester is a time-consuming task.

If there are any unanswered questions not related to “Zee_SupportResistance. V1.0”, please repost them.
