Thank you, Mr Funchi, for sharing the Nameless Greedy Trading Strategy. Do you have a plan for the NEMA indicator comes to the FNC DB? Appreciated.

My previous explanation was insufficient.
It was based on the assumption of a version upgrade.

Let me clarify.

Each time I release a version upgrade or add/change/delete indicators, I create a new Zip file.
Users need to overwrite all the files contained in the Zip file.
However, there is no need to overwrite the settings file. If the settings file changes, I will notify you accordingly.

Recently, there have been two major changes.

If you delete everything once and then overwrite everything with the latest version, the issue will be resolved.
If it still does not work with an old template, please post the old template, and I will update it to the latest version.

From time to time, I modify the system in a way that removes backward compatibility.
If signals do not appear, it means the versions of the FNC_DB on the dashboard and the signal-generating signal indicator do not match.
Also, if the automated trading does not work, the versions of the FNC_DB_EA for automated trading and the signal-generating signal indicator do not match.

If you mix files of different versions, it will not work.

Does this answer your question?
Hmmm...I think I got it now. Thank you for the comprehensive explanation. Let me get to work then and see what I come up with..

Whew!!! Master Funchi, I finally got it, after following your instructions. Now let me spend this weekend trying to figure out how this EA works.

Master Funchi,
Please check this out. The EA just took a sell trade couple of minutes ago (with the default values). I haven't the time to configure the EA settings until I study it properly. In the meantime, please can you attach the set file for the results you got in the pix you sent above? Thanks a ton, master.

A template is provided, so I would appreciate it if you could create the set file yourself based on that.

Before that, could you tell me the status of the triangle signal?

Re: The FNC Greedy System

This is a "greedy" tool for the Trading Made Simple system on Forex Factory.
https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/291 ... ade-simple

Apologies—this is from another community site, but I found it interesting and decided to give it a try.

I will omit the detailed trading rules. Please refer to the original thread for those.

The greedy signals are as follows:
Other trading conditions are discretionary.
These signals are intended to narrow down potential trades.

< Signal Conditions >
  • H1: Crossover between the RSI Price Line and the Trade Signal Line on TDI
  • (13-Close-34-2-Simple-7-Simple)
  • The crossover is valid if it occurred within the last 3 bars, including the current one.
  • H1: Position relationship between the Main Line and Signal Line of Stochastics
  • (8-3-3-Simple-LowHigh)
  • Evaluated on the current bar.
  • Tradeable time zones are set for each currency.
< Exits >
  • Discretionary.
  • Alternatively, via EA when a TDI cross occurs in the opposite direction. (Not in use)
< Stop Loss >
  • Most recent high/low
< Lot Size >
  • Automatically calculated based on 0.25% risk of account balance
< Trading Hours (JST) >
  • 08:45 – 12:00
  • 14:45 – 17:30
< Currency Pairs >
  • All 28 major FX pairs
  • JP225, AU200, HKD50, GER40, US30, XAUUSD
< Performance Results >
  • Test Period: 2 weeks
  • Dashboard P/L %: Profit/Loss ratio against initial account balance
< How I Use the Greedy Signals >
  • Signals are evaluated on the current H1 bar, but updated every 15 minutes.
  • Therefore, trade checks and entries are done at 15-minute intervals.
  • Entries are made on the current bar when the TDI crosses.
  • Only enter when the angle of both TDI and Stochastics is favourable.
  • In such cases, Heiken Ashi price action appears to perform well.
< Notes on Use >
  • Please configure the time settings. These must match your PC system time. (FNC_TradeWindow parameter)
  • During summer time, the London market opens at 16:00 JST.
  • Please also configure the currency pair settings. (FNC_DB and FNC_TradeWindow parameters)
< Reflections >
  • Although many signals appear simultaneously, I often end up trading only a limited number of currency pairs.
  • I tried trading pairs I don’t normally touch, but often ended up closing positions early due to lack of profit or sudden reversals.
  • If time allows, using H4 charts with signals updated every hour might provide a more relaxed trading pace.
