The indicator is 100% NON-REPAINTING on closed candles.

Let me 1000% sure ..non repaint..i will share here.

May All Profit

Yes, that is 100% correct.
Once a candle closes and a dot (arrow) is printed on that candle, it will never disappear or move. It is permanently fixed on that candle.
Here is the simple breakdown of what happens:
The Live Candle (Bar 0): The candle is still forming. Its price is changing every second. The indicator is constantly re-calculating with the new price data. A dot might show up and then go away as the price moves. This is normal.
The Candle Closes: The moment the candle finishes, its final Open, High, Low, and Close prices are recorded and become permanent history.
The Final Calculation: Your indicator runs its calculation one last time on that now-closed candle using those permanent prices.
The Permanent Dot: If the final calculation results in a signal, the dot is placed on the chart. Because the historical data for that candle will never change, the dot will also never change.
You can rely on this rule:
Situation Dot's Behavior
The current candle is still forming and has a dot. NOT CONFIRMED. The dot might disappear before the candle closes.
The candle has finished and closed, and it has a dot. 100% CONFIRMED. The dot is permanent and will not be removed or moved.

Analysis of the Indicator's Logic
The name "SpeedoMETER" is fitting because the indicator's core logic is based on a concept sometimes referred to as "Speed of Tape" or "Speed of the Market".
It calculates a value SOT using this formula:
SOT = (Price Change / Volume) * ScalingFactor
This measures how "efficiently" the price is moving relative to the trading volume.
A high SOT value suggests a significant price move occurred with relatively low volume (an aggressive, fast move).
A low SOT value suggests a small price move occurred despite high volume (a struggle or consolidation).
The indicator generates a signal when the current SOT is significantly higher than its recent average, indicating a sudden burst of momentum.

i like the look of that speed meter wouldn't mind knowing how to find the source if possible to have a look at it.
prob going to look at that SOT mql on the database to see what turns up

posting to share a concept i had concerning AI. i can get longwinded but i want to provide a little context. i have used several AI platforms for coding at first the chat gpt was not good enough but improvements have been making it better so that is what i am using now, every month or so i test to see which platform may have improved i like the yes chat service also they have access to deep seek now which i have not tried yet. i had an idea or concept that i have not had time to test/experiment with. i am hoping once my current project is closer to completion and gains a little market traction i will want to try this.

there are different AI models for different purposes/functions. i want to try and run for instance j-RSX backwards for the outputs and then provide a mathematical model AI one or more data sets and ask it to create a custom mathematical calculation to match the output provided as closely as possible.
so the concept would be custom mathematical equation creation giving the desired output and the base data set used to create the output.
i had a small list but may try . after asking i would be trying -symbolic regression or mathematical relationship discovery. i might try Eureqa (DataRobot) or similar- have only used the small language models - and am interested to see the capabilities of other AI's with function specific focuses.

just wanted to share

1. High-Level Summary
Name: A! Extreme_Pullback.mq4
Type: MT4 Indicator
Function: It is a scanner and dashboard. It does not draw continuous lines like a moving average. Instead, it scans multiple currency pairs and timeframes for a specific trading signal and displays the results as a text list on your chart. It can also provide pop-up alerts and draw arrows for confirmed signals.
Core Strategy: The indicator looks for pullbacks to Bollinger Bands in an established trend, which is defined by a long-term Exponential Moving Average (EMA).
2. The Core Trading Strategy
The indicator's logic is divided into a Setup condition and optional Confirmation conditions.
Setup Condition (Checked on the most recently closed candle, bar 1)
The indicator first identifies a potential setup on the candle that has just finished forming.

Buy Setup:
The long-term trend is considered UP. This is determined by the price being above the EMA_Period (e.g., 200 EMA). The specific check is ema_value_1 < low_1, meaning the entire candle is above the EMA.
There is a sharp pullback. This is identified when the low of the candle (low_1) touches or breaks below the lower Bollinger Band (bb_lower_1).
In short: The market is in an uptrend, but the price has pulled back aggressively to an extreme level (the lower band).

Sell Setup:
The long-term trend is considered DOWN. This is determined by the price being below the EMA_Period. The specific check is ema_value_1 > high_1, meaning the entire candle is below the EMA.
There is a sharp pullback (rally). This is identified when the high of the candle (high_1) touches or breaks above the upper Bollinger Band (bb_upper_1).
In short: The market is in a downtrend, but the price has rallied aggressively to an extreme level (the upper band).
Confirmation Conditions (Optional, checked on the current forming candle, bar 0)
If a setup is found, the indicator can optionally wait for further confirmation before generating a signal.

RSI Filter (Require_RSI_Filter):
For a Buy signal, the RSI on the setup candle must be in the "Oversold" zone (e.g., below 30).
For a Sell signal, the RSI on the setup candle must be in the "Overbought" zone (e.g., above 70).

Candle Confirmation (Require_Candle_Confirmation):

This is a crucial detail: this confirmation is checked on the current, live candle (shift = 0).
For a Buy signal, the current candle must form a Bullish Pin Bar (also known as a Hammer), indicating buying pressure is returning.
For a Sell signal, the current candle must form a Bearish Pin Bar (also known as a Shooting Star), indicating selling pressure is returning.
A signal is only displayed/alerted when the Setup is valid AND all enabled Confirmation conditions are met.
The Fix
You've correctly identified a common issue in MQL4 indicators that manage their own graphical objects. When the indicator re-initializes (which happens when you change timeframes, edit settings, or recompile the code), the OnInit() function runs again.

NOW no more old objects,Only new one is drawn.

The Fix
The solution is identical to the previous examples: add the object cleanup logic to the very beginning of the OnInit() function. This ensures that every time the indicator loads, it starts with a completely clean slate.
Define Object Prefix: The OnInit() function first defines the unique obj_prefix.
Delete Old Objects: We will add ObjectsDeleteAll(0, obj_prefix); right after the prefix is defined. This command will find and delete all objects from any previous instance of this indicator on the chart.
Redraw Chart: A ChartRedraw() call makes the deletion visually immediate.
This small addition makes your code robust and prevents any "ghost" objects from remaining on the chart.

Hi everybody,

I must say couple of interisting indicators here. I myself also use the help of Chat GPT for creating indicators and ideas as well. Another good tools are Perplexity AI and Yeschat. ChatGPT paid version is getting better each day as well. but it seem YESchat delivers more accurate work for now.

Aynway, there was this indicator that caught my intention posted by John. It looks interisting and I have rebuilt my version with informations that were available it looks simmilar, but maybe Author can share more how the calculations are made for the bands and for the two main lines.
Although the original indicator has missing bar issues and refreshing issues. Even if you use reffeshing indicator it is always shifted one bar back to bar -1. See the picture below for comparison.

MQL4 code is also below for whoever wants to play with it. Maybe John can tell us more about the original code calculations, so I can try to adjust it, so the lines behave like original or maybe posting mql4 code here. Anyway looking forward to hear more.

IDEA

So far I'm running this on my charts and it looks to be 100% non-repaint exactly as you said.

Is there any chance you would be willing to release the MQ4 file? I'd be interested to see how the SOT 6/10/14 indicators are combined to show a single blue or red dot.

I'm also open to paying for the source code to be released, similar to what was done recently with ionone's peek+ indicator.

EDIT: It turns out this indicator actually does repaint, but not in the way you would think. I will explain tomorrow with pictures.
