Session Navigator

Overview
This indicator is a support tool for manual backtesting on historical charts.

In most cases, traders operate within specific market sessions, such as Tokyo, London, or New York. When reviewing historical charts, traders often skip irrelevant sessions manually with the mouse.

This tool allows you to move across fixed time slots — such as one day earlier, two days earlier, or one or two days ahead — based on the current chart time.
By clicking a button, you can shift the chart by exactly one day's worth of bars, forward or backward.

Due to the nature of how many bars are shown in a single chart window, this tool is not practical for timeframes higher than H1.

Parameters
Button labels, size, position, and colour can all be customised.

Known Issues
When shifting across certain dates — such as Monday opens, Friday closes, or around public holidays — the tool may not align the session time precisely.
A few bars of discrepancy may occur.
