The most recent and official TDI trading systems by CompassFX can be found here: Apologies, you can get lost in the maze of our growing library but if you need a hand please give us a yell and we can find it for you or create a template etc.

Also, if you could spare a moment to have a read of our TDI topic's first post and download the infographic PDF because there are minor differences in the versions of the TDI's, which are really only small adjustments of the TDI's "periods".

Personally, I use the original Traders Dynamic Index formula with periods 13, 2, 7 from 2005 even though it's harder to read it at the start and there's a lot of false crosses, it reacts to price fast. It's just a personal preference but the TDI's that Mrtools and Kvak have made are way better for new TDI traders as they have a lot of very good, non-lag smoothing algorithms included and don't repaint.

Start with the basic TDI setup and check out the more advanced indicators by Mrtools and Kvak once you're comfortable with the original TDI.

Perfect thanks for that, it can be quite overwhelming, I do remember reading Big E used this system many years ago when I dabbled in trading, but looking to start up this this journey again!

I downloaded an indicator a while ago and was looking at it. but I didn't know why sometimes the green line crosses another green line or a red line, and vice versa. The red line sometimes crosses a green or red line.

Hello, the colors are based on each lines slope.
