Nice work man, thanks for letting me know. Windows Defender is one of the best virus and malware detectors out there. I've found it to be way better than Malwarebytes and it digs deep into the archive files etc.

Good job on tracing it down, I was beginning to think I might have missed it.

it seems that because i only downloaded but never attempted to open the zip that it was still dormant on my PC.
