Thanks. Being the vassal is just a way of avoiding responsibility such as the EU avoiding paying for their own defence needs.

Once surrendered, China could just carry on and tell the EU what to do, the same as the US has for the last 70 years.

But as Vance said, a vassal is just not a reliable or useful actual partner (which is what the US really needs now). Check out the top video with Col. Wilkerson.

Western press constantly talk of Putin's maximalist goals ignoring that Zelensky's goal of negotiations is Russian complete capitulation is, at least, just as maximalist.

Vance restates the US on the verge of walking away (again), Ukraine and Russia must start talks.

So here we are;

Ukraine and Russia start direct negotiations – doubtful.
Trump steps back but continues aid – possible but everything he said he wouldn't do.
Trump walks away totally and watches Ukraine collapse – possible.

Meanwhile Russia continues to roll forward on the battlefield and continues to grow stronger as Ukraine continues to grow weaker.

And up next?

Russia has 2 new armies (by western reports) each issued with the latest equipment, ready and waiting.

2 new armies totalling 150,000 men - to act as a NATO deterrent, or about to be launched in a spring offensive, or both.

East European states starting to think of a carved up post war Ukraine, they're now queueing up with US style demands for compensation from Ukraine for aid given. “The form the compensation will take still needs to be discussed” (land?).

Christ, it looks as if the lads are out on a stag do to Amsterdam. Laughing and joking and slapping each other on the back. What's going on?
Turns out the lads have been thrown a bone by big boss Don. He's really gonna stick it to the Putin this time - apparently.

And so once again the US/EU/UK meet to negotiate an ultimatum to put before the Putin ho ho ho.

And once again Putin is just going to tell them all to fuck off.

How come these guys just don't get it? It's truly exasperating to watch them repeat the same failed stunt over and over again.

It was never going to work the first time they tried it let alone the 10th.

In 2024 Russia gained over 4,000 sq km and up to May in 2025 have gained over 1,100 sq km (western sources). Most movement occurs over the summer months and, as everyone knows, Russia is planning a big summer offensive to start - imminently.

So is Russia about to agree to an unconditional ceasefire then? Of course not.

The dancing clowns (Macron, Starmer, Metz, Tusk, Rutte, Kellogg et al) are completely unable to see reality and instead got hooked on their own propaganda (Ukraine is winning and Russia must surrender for it's own sake) in spite of the fact it's obviously, demonstrably untrue.

And after each failed attempt at negotiations Russia will keep rolling on and keep demanding more - precisely because they are winning, and there's nothing the west can do about it, except stop allowing negotiations to keep failing.

But the west shows no inclination to do that, it seems the grift must go on no matter how many Ukrainians are sacrificed.

If these negotiations fail then next time round the Russians won't be demanding the 4 oblasts in full but will be demanding everything up to the Dnieper river.

Trump puts pressure on Zelensky and Zelensky's pushed one way.
The ultra-nationalists in the Ukraine army also put pressure on Zelensky but pushing the opposite way.
Hence Zelensky never moves.

Trump cannot pressure Putin and neither can the Ukrainian army.
Hence Putin continues to roll forward.

As a conflict becomes increasingly protracted the door for any kind of a negotiated settlement slowly closes and at some point the result thereafter can only be either a surrender or a collapse, that's where we're headed.

In other news, the launch site for the Oreshnik missiles was put on stand by and all air traffic diverted led western observers to speculate that the missiles could be preparing for launch as part of the expected Russian summer offensive.

Reminder that Ukraine still have a photo ban on the factory complex hit by the the first Oreshnik strike.

And more news:

“JUST IN - U.S. has approved the transfer of 125 long-range artillery missiles and 100 Patriot missiles from Germany to Ukraine — NYT “

Yeahhhhh.

But wait a moment, as Big Surge points out.

“Translation: American inventories are drained to the point where they have to draw down the forward deployed assets in Europe. The strategic reserve is stripped down, now it’s time to loot theatre stocks.”

So there's nothing left for it but to take the weapons out of NATO soldier's hands, may as well take their uniforms off them as well.

Don't let any politician bullshit you again that 'the Russians are coming'.

Putin easily out manoeuvrers the 5 fuckwits and their moronic ultimatum that the side that's winning the conflict should give up and immediately enter into unconditional surrender negotiations, including an agreement that Putin hands himself over for trial at the ICC (says Merz).

That Zelensky, Macron, Starmer, Merz and Tusk really actually believed they had Putin over a barrel is a serious concern, It proves that western Europe is run by retards.

They and Kellogg really did believe their own propaganda that Russia was on the verge of collapse and were desperate to find a way out.

Putin, after being in meetings with foreign leaders all day, came out at 2am and just said no to the ultimatum and instead invited Zelensky to continue the Istanbul talks he abandoned back in 2022.

Zelensky in return said no thanks and, realising that he couldn't action his own ceasefire without disastrous military consequences, called the whole thing off.

We now await to see what these threatened new sanctions against Russia might be, Putin certainly is not at all concerned.

They are believed to be sanctions on Russia's central bank that has next to no dealings with the west anyway, and there may be actions against Russia's so called 'shadow fleet' transporting oil.

Since Estonian action against a Russian tanker several weeks ago Russia seriously increased it's naval presents in the Baltic and the NATO countries quickly backed away.

Also of note was Putin dropping the phrase 'Special Military Operation' and saying 'war' instead. There are differing Russian legal aspects between the 2. Does this mean Putin is about to announce a full-on war with Ukraine before the start of their summer offensive?

It would certainly be easier were the Russian army to just level AFU occupied towns with Oreshnik missiles than spend time flattening them with artillery and then pushing the AFU out by hand.

Latest now on Sunday evening is that Trump tells Zelensky he has to send a team to Istanbul to meet with the Russian team on Thursday. And no mention from Trump of any new sanctions on Russia, as yet.

Trump also says he's sending Witkoff back to Moscow, this time with a new 22 point plan. Kellogg talked of a 22 point plan a week ago. If this new plan is just another rehashed Kellogg plan then they're wasting their time and confirmation Trump really doesn't have a clue.
