Also I wanted to add this is not an attack against Metaquotes.
I LOVE the software (specially MT5) which is miles ahead of other softwares (except maybe NinjaTrader, but it's not for forex)
I just wanted to add that.

Re: 🧐 Is Metaquotes playing with us?
12Don't trust anything 100%. You do not know the origins of data, nor the programming of the platform.
I have many bad experiences with brokers. Just 2 weeks, I had a few bots optimized to perfect win rates. But strangely
didn't trade on real account when my friends bots did. I have reason to believe that all EAs are tampered with
some way or another. Manual trading will have less shenanigan's.

13Starting to think its got to do with broker data.. i mean how else would it be affected apart from actual price data?ionone wrote: Thu Feb 27, 2025 10:44 pm Also I wanted to add this is not an attack against Metaquotes.
This is interesting yet strange.. what do you mean your EA's didn't trade on real accounts but your friend's EA's did? Your EA wouldn't execute trades or wouldn't work? I wanna know more pleaseruman wrote: Fri Feb 28, 2025 5:55 am I had a few bots optimized to perfect win rates. But strangely

14I thought about it, but i'm using MT4 and I also use custom price data, so it cannot change that much.boytoy wrote: Fri Feb 28, 2025 6:41 pm Starting to think its got to do with broker data.. i mean how else would it be affected apart from actual price data?

Re: 🧐 Is Metaquotes playing with us?
15The EA didn't trade at all. I triple checked 3x to make sure all was fine. Only 2 scalpers traded. The rest just sat there. By the 3rd day, I was thinking something's not right. So i set the exact set bots on another platform but demo account, and they traded. I asked a guy that have a couple of the same bots as me, he said his traded. Fishy? Hmmm,
Just the week before , i had the same exact set of bots , on the same platform, running on a cent account. In 3 days it doubled my cent account from 30k to almost 60k. That was why i decided to go real account. Out of 9 bots which were continuously tested previous weeks as well as optimized, 4 had perfect win rates, the others had minimum win rate of 80%, mostly above 90%. I didnt think the bots will lose. But i didnt think the bot wont trade. This wasn't the only incident, i had incidents where the bots underperformed etc. i didn't think of it then, but now i strongly believe that there's something afoot among all the brokers. Something slight and noticeable, thats their edge. Is the market really unbeatable by any standards? how many bots have been created and up to now not one can effectively and convincingly win at the market? I say you try it yourself, take your best EA, place it among a few brokers. Make the situation identical, from the SLTP to the leverage. Keep the spread as close as possible. Then post your finds after you have conclusive results to debunk me or to prove me right. So for now, since they arent playing fair. I wont feel bad
